Unearthing hidden gems

Working in Data Science is motivating, satisfying and surprisingly creative, because you get the chance to truly unlock the power of data in a variety of imaginative ways. Using mathematical modelling and advanced analytics – on top of traditional software development – our colleagues find and reveal valuable insights and patterns.

Then translate this output into something useful and meaningful for leaders to make better decisions and choices. They also use data to develop the increasing number of machine learning applications that are optimising so many of Arla’s business processes in the background.

Policing Arla's data

The more the business transforms digitally, the more valuable Arla’s digital assets and sensitive data become. And the more vital it is that there is trust and confidence in its resilience and security.

IT Security is a specialised team responsible for implementing robust security measures, mitigating risks and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Colleagues here continuously monitor and detect potential threats, respond to incidents and enhance our security infrastructure to meet increasingly sophisticated sources of harm.

Designing what Arla feels like

User Experience (UX) is much more than improving our digital solutions – it’s about considering all the aspects and touchpoints that our end users might experience, however they meet the brand.

In fact, UX starts when someone walks into Arla reception or logs into an Arla system from home. As soon as you think about Arla or meet the brand in any way, the UX journey starts – and it’s a great privilege to be able to design that journey.

Building tomorrow’s digital structure

Arla’s IT Architects have a momentous challenge: to ensure that there are scalable and secure technology solutions in place to match the business’ ambitious goal to create the future of dairy.

This work takes place in a complex stakeholder landscape, with different colleagues and disciplines using a broad spectrum of technologies, depending on industryspecific and functional requirements. It means being adept at both optimising standard technology solutions and proposing innovative, Arla-designed ones.
