Shrimp-Salad with Pita

Ingredients (4 servings):

  • 150 g (1 pack) Arla Arla Herbs&Spices Fresh Cheese
  • 200 g shrimps (either fresh or thaw)
  • 75 g chopped celery 
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh dill 
  • 2 teaspoons freshly squeezed lemon juice 
  • 1/2 tablespoon salt 
  • Freshly ground pepper 
  • 4 whole wheat pita bread  

Preparation (30 minutes):

Let the shrimps drain well and chop them in big pieces. Stir cream cheese with shrimps, celery, dill, lemon, salt and pepper. Season to taste.

Warm pita bread (fx in a toaster) and split them. Place the shrimp salad in a small bowl. 

Our Tips:

The shrimp salad can also be filled in the pita bread and used in a lunchbox.

The shimp salad can also be served on croutons and used as a starter.
