Cottage cheese for Sweden and curd cheese for Denmark

All production of Arla Foods’ cottage cheese will take place in Sweden from next week while production of curd cheese will be centred at Brabrand dairy in Denmark from next year.

Skövde dairy in Sweden began producing cottage cheese for the Danish market two weeks ago and will now begin producing for export to Greenland, Italy, Spain and Germany.

Both Danish and Swedish production of curd cheese will be transferred to Brabrand Dairy from Christiansfeld Dairy Centre and Götene dairy in 2003.

Production from Christiansfeld Dairy Centre will be transferred during January 2003 and the production from Götene Dairy in February 2003.
