A new cold store and distribution centre is to be built at an Arla Foods-
owned site at Stourton outside Leeds, Managing Director Jens Bigum
announced at a meeting of Arla Foods' Board of Representatives Tuesday.
The decision follows the expiry of Arla Foods' existing lease for which the
company has been unable to find suitable alternative premises.
Construction costs are expected to be £5.4 million.
