Announcing the new Arla Foods' organisation, Managing Director Jens Bigum emphasised that not everything will be in place from day one of the merger. The various responsibilities will, however, be transferred to the new divisional managements and Group staff as soon as possible. The final structure of the organisation is expected to be completed by June 1 and become effective by July 1.
The amalgamation of all business units should be completed by October 1 when the resulting synergies should begin to take effect.
