During the autumn, Danapak will transfer its Swedish production of butter and margarine tubs to Finland and Denmark. In accordance with Swedish law, negotiations have been held with the staff of the factory at Svedala, near Lund. These negotiations have been concluded with the decision that future production will be at Danapak's factories in Nummela in Finland and Stilling in Denmark. The lease on the production premises in Svedala will be terminated and the first consignment of machinery is expected to leave Svedala in late August. The final transfer to Finland and Denmark is planned for completion by the end of November. The move will affect approximately 50 staff in Sweden.
