Arla Cheasy history and market

The first products under the Cheasy® brand were launched in 1991 by the then MD Foods: Cheasy milk 0.7 % and two yoghurt varieties.

The majority of the Arla Cheasy® range is produced at Danish dairies. The cheese is made at Hjørring dairy while the yoghurt and creme fraiche are produced at Brabrand dairy. The cottage cheese is produced at Skövde dairy in Sweden which specialises in making Arla’s cottage cheese. Cheasy® products are only sold in the Danish market.
