Arla’s Board of Directors welcomes three new members

Arla Foods’ Board of Representatives has elected the Board of Directors for the next two years, with three new members joining. Jan Toft Nørgaard continues as Chair, while Inger-Lise Sjöström continues as Vice Chair.

The election took place at Arla’s Board of Representatives meeting in Düsseldorf, May 21st.

The new members joining the Board of Directors are farmer owner Jeppe Thing Jensen from Denmark and employee representative Michael Skytt Juhl from Denmark.

Also, Natacha Valla joins the Board as an external member, replacing Nana Bule, who has decided not to stand for re-election.

Natacha Valla is a French national and currently the Dean of the School of Management, Science Po in Paris. She brings extensive experience in navigating macroeconomics, geopolitics and risks through her diverse roles in the banking sector, academia, international financial institutions and European institutions.

The new Board of Directors re-elected Jan Toft Nørgaard as its Chair and Inger-Lise Sjöström as Vice Chair.

Arla’s Board of Directors consists of 14 farmer owners and two external members, who are elected by the Board of Representatives. Arla employees are represented on the Board by three members, who are elected by Arla’s European Works Council.
