Arla Foods has appointed Anna Kaposvári National Sales Manager and head of the Group’s new representative office in Hungary with effect from May 1.

“Hungary’s retail sector is dominated by large international retail chains such as Tesco and Ahold and Arla needs to maintain a close and direct dialogue with customers like these to ensure that our business with them continues to develop,” says Regional Director Frede Juulsen, the Europe Division.

Arla Foods has maintained modest exports to Hungary for several years through a local distributor. This relationship will continue.
Arla Foods’ sales to Hungary, mainly Lurpak butter, blue mould cheese and cream cheese, total DKK 10 million.

Arla Foods is an international dairy company owned by more than 8,400 farmers from Denmark, Sweden, the UK, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands. Arla Foods is one of the leading players in the international dairy arena with well-known brands like Arla®, Lurpak®, Puck® and Castello®. Arla Foods is focused on providing good dairy nourishment from sustainable farming and operations and is also the world's largest manufacturer of organic dairy products.
