Danish food companies received high praise when the President of The Agricultural Council of Denmark, Peter Gæmelke, visited the international Anuga Food Fair in Cologne, Germany, on Sunday.

"In general, Danish food producers are performing very well in the competition with foreign producers," said Gæmelke.
Accompanied by other board members, Peter Gæmelke spent some considerable time at the MD Foods' stand, where he applauded MD Foods' initiatives within the area of organic products.
"The Danish Minister of Foods and others have criticised MD Foods for not showing sufficient commitment to organic products for our export markets," said Gæmelke. "Here at Anuga, however, one can see that MD's organic range greatly exceeds whatever the foreign competition comes up with."
MD Foods is presenting a broad range of UK products as well as a series of new ones for the German market at this year's Anuga Fair. "The MD Foods' range can leave no one in any doubt that MD's product development is more than a match for the competition," said Gæmelke.
