New Group Executive Director for international markets

Tim Ørting Jørgensen, 42, Director of Arla Foods' Danish market, has been appointed Group Executive Director with responsibility for the company's international markets. He also joins the Arla Foods' Executive Management Group.
Tim Ørting Jørgensen.Tim Ørting Jørgensen succeeds Mikael Sternberg Christiansen, who, by mutual agreement, has decided to seek challenges outside Arla Foods.
"Mikael has been a strategic asset for Arla Foods. He has contributed to the company through his sharp analytical skills and, not least, in respect of the reorganisation of Consumer International over the past two years. Tim Ørting Jørgensen's task will be to continue to build on the strategy. I wish Mikael good luck in his future career," says CEO Peder Tuborgh.
With a Master's degree in Commerce, Tim Ørting Jørgensen joined Arla Foods in 1991 as Trade Marketing Assistant. He gained wide international experience from his marketing and sales responsibilities in the Middle East and Brazil, and as project manager for turnaround and strategy development in Poland. In 2001, he was appointed Business Unit Director for the Danish Market and later Sales Director for the Denmark Division. In 2005, he was appointed Divisional Director.
Sales Director Lars Aagaard, Consumer Nordic Denmark, has been appointed Acting Director for Arla Foods' Danish market.
