This month, Arla Foods is rolling out the biggest ever launch campaign for a dairy product in Algeria.

Many of the downtown buses in Algiers carry Dano advertisements this month.
"Dano, a sign of health" is the main message behind this month's largescale campaign for Arla Foods' milk powder product Dano in Africa's second largest country, Algeria. The nationwide commercials on TV and radio, advertisements in newspapers and lifestyle magazines as well as posters on buses in the capital are set to convince consumers to try Dano, which was introduced to the Algerian market at the end of January this year.

"Dano is a product for the whole family, and we're hoping that Algerian consumers will be excited about its quality," says Michael Lundtoft, Brand Manager in Arla Foods Ingredients.

Arla Foods is an international dairy company owned by more than 8,400 farmers from Denmark, Sweden, the UK, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands. Arla Foods is one of the leading players in the international dairy arena with well-known brands like Arla®, Lurpak®, Puck® and Castello®. Arla Foods is focused on providing good dairy nourishment from sustainable farming and operations and is also the world's largest manufacturer of organic dairy products.
