Following a successful TV commercial, sales of Arla Apetina feta saw a sixfold year on year increase in July.
Arla Foods in Poland recently launched a strong campaign for Apetina feta to increase awareness of the Arla brand throughout the country.
The campaign, the first time for Arla Foods in Poland to use TV advertising in addition to shop activities and PR, has led to a boom in sales. In July, Apetina sales were six times up on the same period last year. Produced at Bov and Bislev dairies in Denmark, Arla Apetina exports to Poland began three years ago.
“Poland is going well for us and growth has been spectacular,” says Marketing Manager Gabriela Gawel. “We have the right product range and a really good campaign.”
The campaign kicked off in July for a four week period.
Doubling exports
“We expect to more than double our exports to Poland over the next year,” says Gabriela Gawel who sees the campaign as evidence that Polish consumers are receptive to new brands and products.
At almost DKK 150 million, Arla Foods has more than doubled its turnover in Poland over the last year.
The reason lies in the launch of brands, new products – both imported and locally produced – and a significant increase in exports of cheese from Arla Foods’ dairy in Poland, primarily to Finland.
