New name for Friesland

Holland’s largest dairy company, Friesland Coberco Dairy Foods, is to change its name to Friesland Foods from January 1, 2005. Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands has given Friesland permission to use “Royal” as a prefix to Friesland.
