40 staff are set to lose their jobs at the yoghurt dairy, Östgöta Mejeri, in Linköping in Sweden.
The redundancies are part of the ongoing effort to rationalise the dairy’s production as well as streamline Arla’s administration.
Talks with the unions involved have been completed and the staff have been informed.
With an annual capacity of 120 million kg and 475 employees, Östgöta Dairy is Sweden’s largest plant for production of yoghurt and other fermented products.
