Cocio Chokolademælk A/S in which Arla Foods has a 50 % stake recorded a good result for 2003 with a 39% rise in operating profit to DKK 16.7 million.

During the year Cocio launched a range of new cocoa drinks in a trendy canned packaging while the classic Cocio was made available in a new low-fat version. Rising exports and more licensed and own label production also contributed to the higher turnover.
The positive trend is expected to continue in the current financial year, partly due to higher exports.
