Arla Foods’ sells Semper Clinical Nutrition.
The Swiss pharmaceutical group Novartis Medical Nutrition is acquiring Arla Foods’ Semper Clinical Nutrition which makes a range of high-nutritional products for, primarily, the healthcare and care sector.

”We have had a strategic partnership with Novartis in the Nordic area over the past year and the results have been satisfactory for both parties. It’s, therefore, natural that Novartis acquires this part of Semper,” says Jan Eidolf, Semper’s MD.

Semper Clinical Nutrition is part of the wholly-owned Semper, which also produces baby food, gluten-free products, frozen, ready-made dishes and certain health products.
The deal is expected to be completed within the next few months.
