Ministerial meeting at Arla’s Anuga stand

The Danish Minister of Food, Mariann Fischer Boel, and her Swedish counterpart, Ann-Christin Nykvist, met at Arla Foods’ stand at the Anuga fair in Cologne, where the two ministers were given a guided tour by Deputy Managing Director Åke Modig and Henrik Stigkær, Head of Arla Foods’ German subsidiary.

”Both ministers showed great interest in our export activities and in Arla Foods’ potential as a cross-border business,” said Åke Modig.

”The ministers also wanted to know more about how product development and increased added value can strengthen competitiveness in international markets and generate job creation.”

Anuga is held in Cologne every two years. The show attracts around 6,000 exhibitors from 100 countries.
