The plant will have a capacity of 1 million kg milk per day, i.e. a doubling of Arinco’s current capacity. The new spray drying plant will be commissioned in the spring of 2004 as part of a major construction programme which includes the expansion of the warehouse, a new wet and dry mixing plant, powder silos and a fully automatic bagging line.

Part of Arla’s structural plan which was announced in June 2001, the costs of the expansion programme total approximately DKK 240 million
