Arla Foods took two top awards and achieved two second places at this year’s international cheese exhibition ” The Nantwich International Cheese show” in the UK.

Settle Dairy won the category salted block butter and came in second in the unsalted block butter category.

In the category single speciality soft or cream cheese with additives Flavouring Garli cream cheese from Holstebro Flødeost achieved top honours. Rosenborg Blue Brie from Troldhede Dairy came second in the category for blue veined single speciality or soft cheese.

Producers from 18 countries exhibited 1,600 products in the show, one of the UK’s most important cheese exhibitions. Held annually since 1887, last year’s show was cancelled owing to the UK foot and mouth epidemic.

More than 30,000 visitors attended the show, where Arla Foods had its own stand for the first time. Arla presented the Rosenborg blue cheese series and the range of speciality cheeses under the Discover umbrella brand.
