In his report, Jens Bigum also pointed out that the currently favourable international trends favour companies whose activities are based on bulk sales.
”To a greater extent than most of our competitors, our strategy aims at ensuring that added value and innovation contribute to a high, but stable, milk price – and not just in the years when trends are favourable.”
In view of recent developments, Jens Bigum doubted that current, favourable trends will continue.
”We’ll have to stretch ourselves if we are to achieve a result even approaching this year’s level.”
