Princess Alexandra of Denmark put Lars Dalsgaard, Director of the new Taulov Dairy, to the test when the Princess was guest of honour at the inauguration of the new Taulov cheese dairy last week.
"The Princess was extremely knowledgeable, which was demonstrated by her many interesting questions," said Lars Dalsgaard.
Princess Alexandra was received by Arla Foods' Chairman, Lars Lamberg, Deputy Chairman Knud Erik Jensen, Managing Director Jens Bigum and Lars Dalsgaard before pressing a computer button to start the dairy's production in front of 300 invited guests,.
In a speech Jens Bigum said: "Taulov Dairy emphasises Arla Foods’ key role as a driving force behind the development towards larger units – a development where traditional craftsmanship and industrial production are not opposites, but go hand in hand."
