Next Wednesday, only a week after the merger, the two traditional football rivals, Denmark and Sweden, will clash in yet another classic contest in Copenhagen. Who should we support?

MD Foods' sponsorship of Denmark's Euro and World Cup teams will continue under Arla Foods which, of course, is co-operatively owned by Danish and Swedish farmers.
"The Danish part of the new group will, of course, support the Danish team. But there will also be Swedes from Arla Foods at the game and I would expect them to cheer for the Swedes," says Arla Foods' Sponsoring Manager Fritz Hegewald.
The game will be the last time for the MD logo to appear on the Danish players' shirts and on the hoardings alongside the pitch.
The new Arla Foods' logo will appear on the national teams' shirts for the first time on Monday May 22 when the team's expatriate professionals meet in Vedbæk north of Copenhagen to prepare for the Euro 2000 finals. The first game will be played on June 10, only four days after the official name change to Arla Foods.

Arla Foods is an international dairy company owned by more than 8,400 farmers from Denmark, Sweden, the UK, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands. Arla Foods is one of the leading players in the international dairy arena with well-known brands like Arla®, Lurpak®, Puck® and Castello®. Arla Foods is focused on providing good dairy nourishment from sustainable farming and operations and is also the world's largest manufacturer of organic dairy products.
