Rising demand for convenience products is being noted at AM Foods which sells instant cappuccino and chocolate drinks for vending machines for canteens, institutions and companies, primarily in Germany, France, Scandinavia and certain East European countries.

The AM Foods' stand at the Anuga international food fair in Cologne has attracted many more visitors than the previous fair, says Marianne Dittman, Trade Marketing Co-ordinator, AM Foods.
"We're currently seeing considerable growth in the market for ready-made drinks from vending machines. This clearly reflects the trend for convenience products in Europe," adds Marianne Dittman.
The first company to launch instant cappuccino for vending machines, AM Foods expects sales to hit 4,000 tons this year when the product celebrates its 10th anniversary.
Jointly owned by MD Foods and Arla, AM Foods also sells the chocolate and cappuccino brand, Caprimo, and Ögon Blink, the Swedish market leader for chocolate drinks.

Marianne Dittmann, Trade Marketing Manager and Björn Hjerdin who is responsible for AM Foods' sales to the Scandinavian market, are delighted that the market for instant cappuccino and chocolate is growing throughout Europe.
