MD Foods will focus on organic products at the international food fair, Anuga 99 where, in addition to a wide range of organic products from Denmark, MD will present several organic products from the UK as well as a new German organic range.

The MD Foods' stand will feature organic butter, both in traditional and spreadable varieties, as well as yoghurt, fromage frais desserts, cream cheese, yellow sliced cheese, brie and blue mould cheese.
"The UK was the first export market to take to our organic products," says Niels Østergaard who is heading the MD team at this year's Anuga fair. "We have either launched, or are in the process of launching, 15 new organic products in the UK. Now we believe that the German market is ready for organic products as well and that Anuga will provide an excellent opportunity to present our organic range to the German trade."
A recent report predicts the market for organic food products in Europe to grow at an annual rate of 22%. By focusing on organic products at Anuga, MD hopes to strengthen this trend as well as make an impact on representatives from large European multiples.
Taking place from October 9 to October 14, Anuga 99 is expected to attract 200,000 visitors from across the world.
