Arla Foods Llandyrnog is the home of Anchor Cheese. We have 100 employees on site who are separated in to the following departments; Finance, Engineering, Production, Process, Logistics, Quality, Projects and PTD. We are currently recruiting a Whey Block Former within the Process Department. This position involves working a 3 on, 3 off days and nights 12 hour shift pattern.
Make an impact
You will take responsibility for the control and operation of the whey processing department when on shift, ensuring product quality is to the highest standard, department audits are complied with and legislation and GMP standards are maintained. A pivotal role to ensure the operational control of Cream, WPC and Permeate processing and all associated CIP's.
Using your problem solving ability you will react to issues in a timely manner, with the awareness of short interval control. In addition, you will ensure checks are completed in relation to the role and report deviations. In addition you will play an active role in the Lean journey on site and be willing to undertake training in relation to the role and training of others.
Further your diary career
- The successful candidate will have an awareness of HACCP, COSSH, risk assessments and department audits and manual handling. Experience within a similar role required.
- You will be food safety certified or willing to train towards this.
