Customer Marketing is the cross-field between sales and marketing. We focus distinctly on winning at the moment of truth when the shoppers decide on a purchase in the store. We deliver shopper insights, analysis and recommendations on how to increase category spend, and naturally the sale of Arla’s products.
Among other things, we drive the development and execution of Arla’s strategies for product range, price, promotion, space and navigation. We have a wide range of data sources available as a base for making our recommendations.
About the job
Our new Space Management Developer will execute our space and navigation strategies with the purpose of optimising store sales and increasing customer earnings.
You will independently analyse and develop planograms for various store formats while tracking and documenting cause-and-effect of different space and navigation solutions.
You will continuously improve our activities based on best practices in close collaboration with the Instore Manager, Marketing and Sales by:
• Building our instore space management capabilities and independently analyse and identify category growth potential from optimised shelf lay-out
• Test in-store solutions, track and roll out successful concepts
In Customer Marketing, you will be assigned or identify your own projects independently in close collabo-ration with your colleagues as well as other stake-holders.
Our new Space Management Developer is on top of the latest fixture and cooler-type trends and will be managing our cooler and instore conceptual materials within stores and at internal and external warehouses.
We are looking for a candidate with strong analytical skills and business acumen from a similar position. Maybe you have recently graduated and /or you have experience from the retail line of business. Good English and Danish skills are needed along with good communication skills. We expect you to be a self-starter and a skilled user in Excel and potentially Power BI. You are preferably experienced with the AC Nielsen Spaceman tool, or an easy learner. A well-developed attention to details is needed for this position as well as a natural flair for numbers.
We are also looking for a person who is self-motivated, can work independently as well as a part of a team. Time management skills are also a huge benefit as deadlines need to be met.
We are based in Viby J, close to Aarhus, Denmark and this is where you will work from at a daily basis. Travelling to customer meetings and store visits to be expected (approx. 20 days on a yearly basis).
