Site Quality Co-ordinator, North Tawton, Devon (12 month contract)

We currently have a vacancy for a Quality Co-ordinator within the QEHS team, working at our site in Taw Valley, Devon to join the team initially on a 12 month fixed term.  The site operates 24 hours per day, approximately 355 days/yr and produces award winning Cheese, Whey, Cream, Butter, WPC and Powder.

This is an exciting, growth role providing support and technical expertise to our site teams to maintain, govern and further develop our food safety and quality management systems and product compliance. In doing so, you will help ensure we comply fully with legal, Arla Foods and Customer standards at all times.

You will be involved in developing and delivering HACCP, and other risk management tools, quality systems, auditing, problem-solving, data management and hold a key role in helping Colleagues across our site to excel in their food safety and quality responsibilities at all times.

As a key part of the QEHS team, you will support other team members and deputise where appropriate.


Experienced Quality Professional

Candidates will require a sound working knowledge of food manufacturing operations across the supply chain, preferably with dairy or chilled foods experience, but not essential. Practical experience with the development of HACCP and quality management systems to current BRC and retailer/foodservice compliance standards is a necessity.

Candidates must have a positive, organised and resilient approach to all aspects of their work, and to be able to maintain excellent relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders.
