Service Owner, Telephony Services - Gdansk

Take the lead on our global telephony platform

To enable our growth, we are creating a new IT Hub in Gdansk, Poland. That is why we are looking for you to join about 40 other IT specialists, including supporters in the Helpdesk, Security Consultants and Managers to support the IT Operation of Arla Foods.

Together, we support Europe’s largest Dairy, a wide range of products and the farmers who own Arla Foods through great IT solutions. You will be responsible for all services related to our fixed and mobile telephony platform. Your goal is to

ensure that we meet the needs of the business and comply with the service level agreements agreed with the business and our vendors. You will be working with technologies such as Windows, Avaya telephone switches, Genesys Call Center and Trio switchboard.

You will have a range of different tasks. As such, you will secure continuous improvement of the services for which you will be responsible, including hardware refresh, roadmap activities, etc. You will also secure that user support and training for your services are available to your end users.

Maintaining the service catalogue will be part of your job, and you will review and participate in defining

standard changes and solution architecture. Moreover, you will participate in the definition of IT standards and give advice and support to projects.

Your main tasks are:

  • Support the business needs within the area of telephony
  • Ensure the day to day deliveries from our vendors
  • Define our architectural roadmaps together with the Architects
  • Participate in projects as a Subject Matter Expert for the telephony area.

  • You possess a wide experience in area of telephony network 
  • You hold a degree in Computer science, bachelor or similar
  • You have minimum 5 years of experience within service delivery management
  • You fully understand ITIL
  • You communicate effortlessly in English
