Senior QEHS Officer - Complaint System & Processes

Become the link between sales and supply chain
You will be based in Aarhus, Denmark, joining our QEHS department and a dedicated team of professionals. You will be a part of the QEHS Care Customer Team which constitute a link between the commercial organization and Supply Chain/QEHS. Quality is the absolute key to the success of AFI producing high-end nutritional products with an ambition to become the true world leader in value added whey. You will become an integral part of this ambition being the owner of the AFI product complaint process and being responsible for handling important quality related customer requests.

Process Owner - Complaint System
In this role you will be the owner of the AFI product complaint process/system. This process/system includes various functions both at headquarters and at our different production sites. As the process owner you will ensure that the entirety of this process – from a customer reporting a product complaint until the complaint is closed – is delivering high quality answers to the benefit of our customers and AFI itself.

Besides being the process owner of the complaint process you will also be a part of the QEHS Care Customer Team where you will have a defined product responsibility. This entails handling QA tasks initiated by our most important customers, supporting our sales function on QA related issues, handling specific product complaints and maintaining and optimizing products specifications.

Food/diary QA background and strong Stakeholder Management skills
To succeed in this position, you need to possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. These skills are essential to navigate among the various players in different organisational functions and units, and it is up to you to ensure productive collaboration across the organisation. You would need to cope with working towards numerous deadlines on a daily basis. Your qualifications:

  • You hold a degree in Food Science, Dairy Science or similar relevant technical education.
  • You have at least 5 years’ experience working with QA in a food manufacturing business and preferably solid experience working with complaint handling and QA systems.
  • Broad knowledge of food chemistry, food microbiology, food safety and food production would be ideal.
