About the role
In this talent acceleration role you will lead a team of 6 people and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity according to the full potential on site. You will also anchor these initiatives and install a line centric organization to embed a mindset & behaviour based on continuous operational excellence. Your responsibilities include:
- Identify productivity growth pockets within addressable conversion cost and beyond
- Conduct deep dive analysis where necessary
- Prioritize productivity initiatives
- Coordinate site functions to a joint and aligned productivity excellence effort
- Build implementation plans and create commitment
- Develop best in class frameworks and tools
- Train/support sites to understand tracking systems
- Identify continuous improvement talents at sites
- Develop talent to internal needs, based on skill matrices
In the Supply Chain, Production Optimization team, you join an international team of 40 colleagues based in 4 countries. To cooperate, encourage your colleagues and bring brilliant initiatives to life you should expect extensive travelling across our sites in Sweden – this being around +100 travel days per year. As you in this role will be travelling to Arlas various sites you can be based in Stockholm or near other Arla sites in Sweden.
Who are you?
To be successful in this role you are a structured and persistent self-starter. Apart from this, your future success is based upon three things. Firstly, you have an analytical skillset and the ability to quickly understand a complex problem. Secondly, you possess the personal impact and communicative skills that help you build relationships and interact across functions, cultures and manufacturing sites. Finally, you are not afraid to challenge status quo.
Besides this, we expect you have experience from a manufacturing site or a Supply Chain development function. Preferably, through theory and practice, you have obtained knowledge of lean manufacturing and supply chain. Through your educational background and practical experience, you have built solid project management skills to explore, involve, define, drive and follow up. Previous leadership experience will be a plus but not a must.
Naturally, you have strong IT skills particularly in MS Excel and PowerPoint. You speak and write Swedish and English fluently. Finally, you hold a valid driver’s license.
