A value driven and passion Solutions Architect
Inbound Logistics is a fundamental part of our supply chain. As a farmer owned cooperative, our owners produce the milk that creates our award winning products. This role puts you in a position to directly impact the efficient way that we collect and distribute raw milk to our dairy sites globally, ensuring high quality and standardised IT platforms are in place. You will join the Inbound Logistics Release Train (Program) and become a key player, setting the guidelines and system roadmap, in close cooperation with the Business Product Manager. You will ensure that the teams in the Train can understand your technical guidelines and enablers to release business value and mitigate risk. Simultaneously, you become part of an ambitious and knowledgeable architect community, challenging your decisions and providing guidance on running the program in the SAFE setup.
Take charge of maturing the roadmaps
Overall, you will be responsible for and drive the target architecture and technical roadmap and at the same time focus on the continuous maintenance of system platforms. Turning business needs to IT solutions, you will take inputs and make our vision come alive, spotting relevant IT trends and knowing when and how to implement these advantages. Other technical aspects of the role will include create technical design documents and overviews of data stores in relation to logistics processes. We will see your leadership behaviours at all times but crucially in our Programme Increment (PI) planning sessions, together with the Release Train management team. You will work closely with this team, external vendors and the supply chain / logistics teams to ensure quality deliverables and scalability of platforms. Crucially, you will, along with all colleagues implement and develop Scaled Agile Framework (principles and best practices across the release train. Please expect to travel approx. 20-40 days per year to meet colleagues and partners around the world.

You have talent for creating and communicating clear direction and you are a team player, who takes pride in solving complex dilemmas – as well as facilitating the required discussion to ensure high focus on creating value. You thrive engaging with people of different cultures and from various backgrounds, and you are able to link IT and business need to realize business benefits. You will have a Masters degree in IT or similar with a minimum of 5 years experience working as an Architect. Experience within inbound logistics / raw material processes (i.e. transport planning and execution applications) would be advantageous but not essential if other criteria is met. You will have a strong technical understanding with the ability to understand the infrastructure and network setup behind applications.You have a strong business process understanding, allowing you to engage in dialogue with your business owners in a way that is detailed but engaging. Knowledge and experience of Agile principles (SAFE) is preferred. Finally, you must speak and write English effortlessly.
