Take on a great responsibility
As Sales Manager in Global Industry Sales & Trading, you are responsible for your own customer portfolio. Our business area is wide, as we serve many different customer segments focusing on Milk ingredients to Infant Nutrition, Sports, Medical and Food applications. Thus, you collaborate with many different stakeholders internally as well as at the customer where our ingredients are used in a diverse range of products. All in all, you use your business acumen to: 

  • Drive, maintain and follow up on sales activities
  • Manage, map and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Obtain, build and maintain a thorough knowledge of your customer’s business
  • Prepare for quarterly reviews where you present e.g. revenue and earnings
  • Submit short- and long-term sales plans and prepare sales strategies

Extrovert and energetic – with great stakeholder management skills
Working in a very broad and complex stakeholder environment, you will need to be great at navigating and communicating with all kinds of people – from line operators to CEOs and specialists in marketing, NPD and R&D. To do so requires a special kind of energy from a sociable and extrovert professional, who is ready to motivate people and engage in all kinds of projects. Your qualifications:

  • You have several years of experience within a relevant business either doing food ingredients sale or working as a key account manager, category manager or similar 
  • You may have a technical (e.g. dairy engineer or food technician) and/or a commercial background.
  • You are comfortable with numbers
  • You can travel 30-40 days a year
  • You communicate effortlessly in English
