We are looking for a new Regional Category and Customer Marketing Manager to handle markets within South East Asia. This job could very well be a stepping-stone for your future career and an interesting challenge for an experienced and ambitious character. After a thorough introduction to the business you will be driving best in class category and customer strategies and plans across the key retail markets in South East Asia.
Regional scope – and multiple opportunities for you
We focus on selling Arla’s well-known global brands within cheese, butter, milk, cream and milk powder. You will focus on our key retail customers and create sustainable value for our key categories. You will engage directly with the customer and in close cooperation with the country teams develop category vision and plans that will have measurable sales impact. You will roll out best practices, ensure seamless implementation of customer and category plans. Secure knowledge transfer to local market teams, embedding core capabilities for them to execute within agreed plans. This is a key role in an interesting and upcoming region and you should expect 30% of travel from your base in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
FMCG experience and a business background
You are a pioneering figure who thrives on working in a fast paced, high growth region. You are inspired by consumer, customer and shopper needs and you are able to translate these to tangible business opportunities. Immense growth prospects challenges and fascinates you. You are comfortable manoeuvring in an international and multi-cultural setting where the social, cultural and working standards are quite different. You have a high-level education and specialisation within business administration, commerce or an equivalent area complemented. Analytical strength is a must and you have a proven growth track record with customers. Lastly, you must be proficient in written and spoken English, and you have good financial and IT skills.
