You secure standards for meeting religious and ethical dietary requirements across Arla Foods sites.
As Quality Specialist your will join a team focused on ensuring quality processes across our sites in Europe by being an interface between suppliers, customers and our factories. Arla Foods’ ambitious drive to bring health and nutrition to the world requires that our production sites can meet strict religious and ethical dietary requirements of various people across the world (e.g. halal, kosher, organic etc.). You will support production sites with documentation and latest knowledge to secure certification according to these dietary requirements. You will naturally be the main contact person for various certification bodies towards the Arla organization and our internal (sales, marketing, regulatory) and external customers. Travelling in Denmark and within Europe will be needed. Expected 20 – 30 days per year.
Open minded with a food background
You have experience from the food manufacturing industry and hold a degree in Food Science, Dairy technology or similar. Ideally, you are familiar with the entire value chain from suppliers to consumers. Documented work experience from working with halal or kosher certifications will be an advantage.
It is important that you have an open mind and good appreciation and respect for other cultures, religions and faiths, and that you recognize the sensitivities of meeting the dietary needs of different groups in relation to their ethical and religious beliefs. Moreover, you do have a cooperative spirit and can handle conflicts well and quickly. Additionally, you demonstrate persistency in driving the agenda towards the best possible results in time, creating a sound sense of urgency to resolve concerns. You also have good communication skills in English; knowledge of other European languages could be a plus.
