PTD Project Manager - Taulov

Then this position as PTD Project Manager at Taulov Dairy, is the position for you. At Taulov Dairy, 65,000 tons of yellow cheese are produced yearly. The main products are both brands for the Danish market (Klovborg and Riberhus) and products for the global market. The dairy has a total of 275 employees. You will also be supporting and managing projects at Denmark’s oldest dairy, Tistrup, which is part of the Taulov organization. At Tistrup Dairy, the yearly capacity is 5,000 tons.

You run projects from development to implementation

Referring to the Senior PTD Manager, you will become part of the PTD department at Taulov Dairy, that consists of 5 skilled employees. The PTD department is the link between R&D and production, which involves projects within a wide range of areas, such as production, packaging, quality, planning, maintenance etc.

As part of our project organization, where we jointly run the projects from early idea to implementation and delegation to the daily operation. You will get involved in all phases of our projects and the tasks will range widely from:

  • Manage process optimization experiments in the production, as well as follow-up on results.
  • Implementation of new equipment/technology.
  • Actively involve QEHS, production, packaging, planning, maintenance and other functions involved in the projects, and communicate changes to these functions.
  • Manage the implementation and maintenance of a continuous improvement culture, where LEAN is an active part of the everyday life.
  • Ensure deployment of lean tools to improve our working methods, so that we can work as efficiently, cost-consciously and environmental friendly as possible.

Strongly committed project manager with process flow experience 

You are a Production Engineer, Dairy Engineer, Machine Engineer, Marine Engineer or similar. Your educational background is supplemented with experience of process flow technology, possibly from the dairy or pharma industry. You have 3-5 years of experience in driving projects, and are confident with preparing contracts, test reports and process documentation.

You are known as a somewhat extrovert, yet empathetic, person who listens and interacts effortlessly with colleagues regardless of their profession or organizational affiliation. In other words: it comes naturally to you to connect to people, and make them talk and cooperate. On a personal level, you take pride in following through on your tasks and ensuring timely deliveries, and you always base your decisions on facts. Finally, you need proficiency in Danish and English, written as well as spoken.
