Develop technological solutions to create the future of dairy  

We are looking for a highly skilled Product and Process Designer with the chief objective to deliver recommendations and validated technical solutions to innovation challenges. Technology is a game changer and we want to explore and stay updated with the best technologies fit for purpose. Through leveraging a combination of functional and business expertise, you will develop the technical elements of consumer propositions that drive sustainable business growth and support Arla’s Innovation Strategy. You will build a broad network across Arla Foods and work collaboratively with relevant functions in innovation projects across categories. You deliver new business opportunities through science application, technology exploration and prototyping.

Product and process development experience

You have solid knowledge about Food Science and related technologies like heat treatment, fermentation, recombination and filtration with an interest to explore other technologies. You must have the curious mindset of an expert and the willingness to gain even deeper knowledge in one or more of these technology areas is a necessity. You feel comfortable both in a dairy processing environment when you execute trials together with our technicians as well as in a stakeholder meeting presenting results and prototypes to a larger group.

You have a MSc or PhD in Food Science, Process Engineering or similar and previous experience in FMCG R&D product or technology development roles. You have a performance-oriented mindset and good business understanding as well as a willingness to learn the basics of business finance. Your strong technical skills enable you to create value in the technical workstream of larger projects effectively designing new products and processes. You take on a proactive approach to your tasks and are tuned in on widening and unfolding your global consumer knowledge in a highly innovative environment. Relying on your moti­vational spirit and strong communication and presentation skills, you are able to build relations, foster creativity and facilitate knowledge sharing. Finally, you are fluent in English both written and verbally.
