Pediatric Sales Development Manager, Europe and Americas - Aarhus

Are you ready to use your commercial and scientific mindset to maintain and develop sales towards the infant formula industry in Europe and Americas ? Arla Foods Ingredients (AFI) is an independent company within the Arla Foods Group with an ambition to become the true global leader in value-added whey.

You will be part of the Strategic Business Unit Pediatric in Aarhus, Denmark, where we develop, document, market and sell specialised milk derived ingredients to the infant formula and child nutrition industry.

Develop sales through communication of the scientific evidence of our ingredients

Together with regional sales managers you will be responsible for maintenance and growth of our ingredient business and develop and execute plans for Europe and Americas and the accounts located in these regions. Your main responsibilities will be to present ingredients and the linked scientific evidence, provide analytical and regulatory knowledge of our ingredient, be a sparring partner for development of the infant formula industry and drive business development projects. In addition, you will be jointly responsible for laying out the strategic path for the specific accounts.

As an intermediate link between our sales force, R&D and supply chain and your insights into the infant formula industry you will be valuable partner in product development projects and marketing project by providing market intelligence and analysis.

Natural Sciences degree, strong project management skills and commercial mindset

You hold minimum a master degree in human nutrition, biomedicine, molecular biology or the like and have previously worked with sales, marketing or business development in the food industry or pharmaceutical industry. In addition, you also have experience as project management. You are proficient in verbal and written English and possess excellent presentation skills.

Even though your platform is scientific you have a natural flair for business and possess a high drive, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You have the capability to craps complicated scientific information and translate the essence into a market relevant concept. You worked very structured and manage your time efficiently so several task can be solved in parallel. You are self-propelled, result-oriented and enjoy taking on challenges that invites you to cooperate with colleagues at all levels and across our global organisation. Finally, you must be capable of handling and solving many tasks simultaneously and working in a dynamic environment. You can look forward to gaining an extensive contact base and should expect approximately 50-60 travel days per year.
