Media Manager - Aarhus

We are looking for a skilled media mix expert to join us at our head office in Aarhus. As Media Manager, you are responsible for all media planning for Arla Denmark.

You are an expert in media channels and formats and you easily make media plans for all types of projects. You are overall responsible for channel strategy, planning and media budgets ROI. You will work close alongside our Brand Managers to plan and ensure that we have effective media plans which deliver the set goals for the brands. Your everyday work is to plan, place and adjust content for different types of channels based on formats and creative ideas. You ensure to capture and apply media/campaign learnings including e.g. econometric modeling results.

Secure long term ROI using your analytical skills
As our Media Manager your will create holistic media plans for our concepts and brands and monitor media performance and media costs. You will lead the yearly media planning process to secure the best overall media plan and ROI. Further you will:

  • Plan content concepts for relevant channels and formats
  • Help set up campaign KPI’s for all projects and monitor performance
  • Analyze media research and translating it into a strategy
  • Build long term relationship with media agencies.

You will have a crucial role helping marketing and communications teams translate their stories, brands and campaign objectives into high quality media briefs making use of relevant insight e.g. consumer journey insight. Coordination of the full ecosystem will also be part of your responsibilities.

How are you?
To be successful in this position we expect a relevant marketing education and minimum 5 years’ experience from digital and conventional media planning. Your experience is probably from a role as Media Manager, Media Planner or similar from an agency or larger CPG, where you have experienced how different digital channels contribute in the media-mix. Further we expect:

  • Knowledge in influence marketing within FMCG
  • Experience with creative agency’s work and processes
  • Commercial mindset and a broad business understanding
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written communication.

Your capabilities:
As well as superb media skills along with your strong analyzing capabilities are put into play when working with the data and analytics team analyzing campaign performance and building insights. You are used to and enjoy working with many different stakeholders – from the internal brand team to the external agencies. Naturally, you thrive well under pressure and handle tight deadlines by using your project management and structural capabilities.

You are a team player with strong negotiation skills knowing exactly how and when to set direction and show clout.
