Then head for the position as Legal Counsel in Legal department of Arla Foods. You will join a team of highly skilled colleagues who take pride in providing legal counselling within all business areas for Arla Foods. You will work right next to 14 skilled colleagues at Arla Foods’ Headquarter in Aarhus, Denmark. Further you will have legal colleagues in Sweden, Germany, the UK and the UAE.
Drafting, negotiating and implementing international contracts
In close cooperation with an experienced colleague, who is acting as a Lead Business Partner, you will primarily support the business zone - International. You will provide high quality legal counselling within a wide variety of countries and a broad legal span ranging from establishment in new countries to various commercial contracts to managing disputes. Your main responsibilities will be to support the business and mitigate risk by drafting, negotiating and implementing contracts throughout the world.
Further, you will develop and drive group policies in Arla Foods and implement and train colleagues in order to ensure compliance.

Solid experience within law
You hold a Master’s degree in Law or Business Law, supplemented by at least 2-4 years’ working experience from a Law firm or company. It is important that you have a firm interest and knowledge about company law and general corporate commercial matters as well as a fundamental interest for international law and business.
You are ambitious and dedicated to providing a high level of quality and service in the solutions you deliver. At the same time, you have an easy going and humorous approach to life and work, and you are known for being dynamic, flexible and committed to delivering on your targets in due time. You are a true team player who listens to the needs of your stakeholders and who proactively seeks to strengthen relations to everyone – whether on behalf of your department or the business. Finally, your language skills cover full proficiency in legal English and preferably one of the Scandinavian languages, written as well as spoken. Knowledge of other languages will be of great value.
