Then join us for this exciting role as a Lead Finance Controller - Performance Management in the Global Milk & Member Trading (MMT) finance team. This role will be responsible for driving the performance management agenda throughout the Global MMT function. Responsible for handling over 13 billion litres of milk every year, provided by over 12,650 farmer owners, and selling c300kt of product a year in global markets, MMT are the first crucial step in the Arla supply chain and a fundamental driver of the cooperative milk wheel.
Based in Viby, Aarhus, this role is responsible for the consolidation, review and submission of the monthly financial results and forecasts for the whole of MMT; using this to provide clear insight and challenge to MMT as a basis for direction setting and excellent decision making.
You will be the owner of the MMT reporting pack developing its content to meet the changing needs of the business and ensuring the efficient production in coordination with the Global Performance Reporting team.
Alongside this you will be responsible for the critical role of calculating the internal milk price and the external milk price, the price we pay to our owners. You will also drive a strong performance culture across MMT, challenging and supporting Finance Business Partners as well as the wider team.
To be successful in this role you will be a qualified accountant with several years post qualification experience in a business environment. You will ideally have an understanding of key issues within the dairy industry, markets and dairy cooperatives. Knowledge of common Office applications is essential and SAP experience is advantageous, particularly with the use of Business Intelligence tools.
You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills, along with the ability to work in pressured situations whilst adhering to tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills are required along with fluency in English. Experience in the dairy industry and knowledge of milk pricing models is a strong advantage
