Drive business transformation projects

As our new Lead Consultant in Organisational Design, you act as guardian for the new Arla operating model which aims to foster an even more global and integrated organisation across functions and geographies. In this capacity, you act as a trusted advisor to executive management, business leaders and HR business partners, helping them understand and work in this model. Moreover, you provide expert input on diagnostics, design, implementation of organisational development projects requested by the individual functions as well as by the executive management team.

As a key contributor to the successful delivery of the projects in our Business Transformation (BT) portfolio, you will lead projects of medium to high complexity all the way from scoping to anchoring. Doing so, you ensure that relationships and deliverables with key stakeholders and key contributors are managed and sustained. Balancing strategy and operational implementation, you translate major strategic initiatives into actionable plans that motivate colleagues across all levels of the Arla organisation.

Specifically, you:

• Are responsible for establishing and maintaining an Organisational Design Centre of Excellence within the Business Transformation team

• Are accountable for developing and sharing best practice on all aspects of organisational design

• Support HR business partners and senior leaders in planning, developing, and implementing organisational changes

• Lead strategic projects in the BT portfolio (anchored in the global HR Business plan) and establish and maintain specific competency areas in the team

• Contribute and participate in the “Arla change community” managed by the Business Transformation change lead

Global mindset and strong business acumen

First and foremost, you have excellent analytical skills and strong business acumen. You hold a master’s degree in economics, psychology, business or similar, and you have gained at least 8 years of experience within business and organisational development – from a similar role in corporate HR function, as an HR business partner or from consultancy or business development function. Through this, you have gained a good understanding of key HR processes and deliverables as well as experience leading organisational design and development projects in a global organisation. Moreover, you speak and write English fluently and have very strong communication and presentation skills.

You know how to develop and assess organisational design options at the strategic level as well as in operational detail. Always thinking beyond the obvious and ordinary solutions, you use your natural curiosity to learn while delivering results consistently. Doing so, you develop yourself as well as others, and your colleagues know you as a team player through and through. Your natural authority and ability to lead makes you a trusted advisor to the business as well as to more junior colleagues. You approach tasks proactively and lead initiatives with a strong drive and a natural ability to manage stakeholders across all organisational levels.
