Internship: Design-to-Value, internal consultancy function in value engineering, Aarhus

Do you want to assist in the roll-out of the Design-to-Value (DtV) cost-saving/value engineering programme, anchored at top management level, across Arla? If so, join Global Product Mgt & Design-to-Value in Aarhus (Viby) as our new intern. We are part of the Marketing & Innovation organization in Aarhus and responsible for the product assortment across Arla.

We are also the centre of excellence for the DtV programme that covers all product categories in Arla Foods. An internal consultancy, you might say, where you will be the 'right hand' to the Project Lead. A project takes 3-4 months from initiation to completion, and you will therefore, be part of all phases and experience everything from project setup and planning to the development of the final implementation plans.

Your role
You assist in rolling out the DtV programme, which is a process aiming to optimize our product portfolio, e.g. within raw materials, ingredients, packaging, pricing, etc. You will have a lot of responsibility – where people and results will depend on your work and effort.

The majority of your tasks will evolve around getting the right data, analysis to identify ways to optimize product value, visualizing results in PowerPoint, and in general supporting the Project Lead in a variety of tasks. This also involves participating in and following up on cross-functional 'core team' meetings – with participation from marketing, innovation, product mgt., procurement and supply chain across countries.

Analyst of nature, outgoing and with a flair for MS Excel and IT systems in general
Firstly, your intern period is on your Master's within Economics, Business Economics or similar. Secondly, you are a strong analyst, systematic, quality and detail oriented – and a skilled MS Excel user (SAP insight is an advantage). You are also outgoing, skilled with people and have no problem picking up the phone to convince project stakeholders to speed up and deliver as needed. Finally, you have a solid business understanding, you are quickly accompanied with new data, knowledge and situations and you have a drive to grow and deliver results. Good English skills, oral and written is a requirement.

How can you apply?
Please send your application, resume and transcript to ASAP, but no later than 15 Nov. 2017. For additional information, please call Project Lead Andreas Sondrup at +45 91314402.
