The Indirects workstream is sponsored by Arla CFO and as a vital member of the Indirects team, you will be responsible for delivery of granular insight and foresight to enable continuous identification of sustainable savings opportunities across Arla’s global organization.
The Indirects team sits in the Corporate Finance organization, however this is an exciting opportunity with a strong impact on the rest of Arla. You will act as a right hand of Cost Bucket Owners (CBOs), who are senior leaders at Arla (SVPs, VPs), and hereby having a direct influence on Arla’s journey on indirects. Your primarily focus areas will be to identify cost drivers, monthly tracking of spend development and identification of hypothesis for future sustainable cost savings. Your daily work will be split between making thorough data analysis and close collaboration with CBOs and Zones & Functions.
Other responsibilities include:
- Acting as a true business partner towards Cost Bucket Owners for e.g. IT, Travel & Expense, Events & Communication etc.
- Enabling new ambition setting through leading workshops and taking part in sparring with relevant zones and business functions
- Kicking off and driving new initiatives, including developing clear milestone plans, business cases, executive team approval and subsequent follow up.
- Driving the target setting process across cost buckets, ensuring best practice is shared.
Who are you?
You come with a Masters degree in Economics, Finance or similar and we would be interested in people with 3-5 years experience in performance management or in a business partner role. Alternatively, we will consider a recent graduate who meets our following profile. Your natural analytical and commercial mindset allows you to be comfortable doing operational tasks to deep dive for insights. You need to enjoy and be skilled at using software like Excel and SAP BW.
These skills are balanced by a strong personal proactivity and drive to build strong relationships, and deliver through your stakeholders. You come with a project management toolbox and examples of delivering measurable results.
