In Arla Foods we are working with an ambitious strategy to strengthen the labour flexibility in our Supply Chain across more than 60 dairy sites in various countries and with 12,000+ employees. Labour flexibility is strengthened when we e.g. optimise our usage of overtime, agency and temporary workers as well as tactically develop multiskilled teams to cover several roles. As a framework, labour flexibility has several levers, and you will be part of making the framework come to life and build the tools and solutions that enables labour flexibility.

Working out of Arla Foods’ Head office in Viby, you will be part of the global Supply Chain HR team and report to Senior HR Manager Kasper Pedersen who leads the labour flexibility project. The Supply Chain HR team consists of 40 dedicated and resourceful HR Business Partners and HR professionals, of whom 15 employees are located in Viby. Together we are driving change, organisational health, talent management and capability building in our global Supply Chain.

Drive the project to success

As a HR Project Consultant you will be a key part the labour flexibility project team, and your role will be to set the direction of the project in collaboration with the project lead, as well as drive the project forward on a day-to-day basis to deliver in time and in full on the ambitions. Driving this project involves forming positive relationships with a vast number of stakeholders across the business, and creating transparency when others see complexity. You will develop the labour flexibility framework as well as implement the framework and tools directly at our dairy sites together with dairy managers and leaders. It will be your role to ensure that we deliver value and challenge diaries as well as secure that we continuously learn and re-develop the framework to deliver on our strategy.

Specifically, you will:

-          Set the direction for the project together with the project lead

-          Build a strong collaboration with HRBPs, Employee Relations specialists and other stakeholders

-          Plan visits to the dairies and organise and facilitate workshops to identify hurdles for future performance

-          Develop tools for overcoming obstacles and anchor the subsequent implementation

-          Identify which flexibility indicators are shared across sites - to develop and drive best practice

-          Work with a change mindset and challenge status quo

-          Follow up on implementation

A fair amount of travel is expected in this position as we will visit dairies in many different locations across our six core countries (Denmark, Sweden, Germany, United Kingdom, Finland and the Netherlands). You should expect approx. 5-10 days a month.

You might be at the beginning of your career with just some years of experience, or you could have a long career behind you, but in order to drive this project successfully you would benefit from having some prior experience in:

-          HR in Supply Chain – preferably a global context

-          Project Management

-          Employee Relations for Blue Collars
