Lead strategic HR and business projects across functions & cultures
In 2017 we re-organized our Human Resources organization, and thereby created a new and more focused and ambitious HR Business Partner role with the aim of operating more strategically with the business. To take it to the next level, we are ready to add another colleague to our organizational powerhouse – being HR Business Partner for our Commercial global organisation.
Reporting to the Head of HR in AFI, you will be part of the HR Business team, whose finest task is to enable the business success through organisational health & performance across the entire AFI value chain.
You will be responsible for advising and supporting our leadership/management teams in Commercial. The aim of the role is to proactively advise and take lead on initiatives to enhance leadership, competence and organisational development to ensure implementation of our business strategy through organizational performance and happiness. A role that also gives you a seat in the Commercial Leadership team. Your base will be in Aarhus, Viby with some business trips abroad.
Key HR advisor and business-oriented sparring partner
Your responsibility will be to lead the development and implementation of value adding HR initiatives, primarily in Commercial and secondary in ONE AFI as a whole. You will provide professional HR support and guidance and be the preferred sparring partner to the leadership/management teams to support them in implementing the overall business strategy as well as in the day-to-day operations. This includes development of managerial teams combined with consultative and coaching activities for managers on an individual level.
Another important part of your job to ensure that the key HR processes are implemented and anchored throughout the organisation. You are expected to quickly build a solid understanding of the business, the organisation and our people, and translate your insights into value adding organisational solutions and development activities. Solid business & HR insight combined with consultative skills
You hold a Master’s degree within business, psychology, social science, HRM or an equivalent discipline, and you have solid experience developing organisations, preferably in an international context. Most likely, you have been employed approximately 5 years in a large company as an HR Business Partner, HR Manager, Management Consultant or in a similar position – preferable in a commercial BtB organisation.
Irrespective of your background, you need to have a keen consultative, commercial mind-set, communicative and interpersonal capabilities that enable you to balance between challenging, advising and supporting line managers.
You have an ambitious, energetic and independent yet team oriented personality and use your structured and goal oriented working methods to achieve your own and the department’s goals. You thrive in a busy environment with a lot of challenge and varying tasks. You have a keen interest for organisation, business and people, and you are able to build strong and trusted relations with many stakeholders.
You should be fluent in Danish and English.
