Would you like to head the strategic mapping of politics and directives in support of Arla’s information security programme? Technology becomes increasingly more sophisticated, and considering the vast amount of sensitive data in the global Arla organisation, we have a high pressure to secure that data. This is a great time to boost your career within cyber security. You will spend 3 days per week in Aarhus, but where you reside is not decisive as long as you are willing to travel.
Help protect Arla’s sensitive information
We are seeking a profile to drive Arla’s global information security agenda and the information security control & compliance programme. You will have an outstanding mission securing Arla’s global IT security – in close cooperation with Arla IT and external service providers. To do so, you will define the overall policies and structures for our global IT control and ensure that we adhere to this on a global scale.
Another important part of your job will be to drive the IT security awareness, communicate the cyber resilience agenda, secure buy-in and create awareness among a broad range of stakeholders. You will also be engaged in securing an effective monitoring and reporting for risks and control.
In addition, you will align policies and procedures with information security architecture and roadmaps with key stakeholders. Furthermore, you will liaise with the external IT audit, and ensure that any findings are pursued and resolved.
As you can see, this is a job for the heavy artillery, as your area of liability will have the full attention of the top management. And you will witness their pressure to succeed within a relatively short time of period.
Make the most of your cyber security skills
Most likely you have a strong history from a similar role - preferably in a large and complex FMCG company. Alternatively, you are a consultant with vast experience solving information security projects for large and complex customers. Here you have delivered outstanding results and proven that your structured overview and excellent cyber security skills can transform strategic decisions into operational actions. At the same time, you ensure that the operational tasks are handed to relevant stakeholders in order to dedicate your focus on the strategic elements of the job.
Problem solving is at the heart of cyber security, so you must combine inquisitiveness with a level of discipline around how you approach problems and implement solutions. Other important traits are the ability to challenge stakeholders at managerial level, to explain the value of your efforts and how it benefits the overall business. This job will take you travelling for around 20-30 days per year.
