The temporary position, being for 1 year from start 2018, is situated in the Chemistry and Functionality department in Videbæk near to Herning. We base our success on a strong knowledge of food chemistry. We are constantly increasing our activities and need capabilities that can strengthen our innovative research and development projects.

You set new standards for future dairy ingredients

As Food Scientist, you are fully in charge of research and development activities that will lead to innovation of new dairy-based ingredients. Through experiments and projects, you will develop new epoch-making ingredients that can live up to the very highest demands as to quality and functionality. This means that you dive into analytical methods and provide detailed knowledge that you translate to solutions for NPD. As such, you are always on the lookout for new methods that can lead to discover undetected possibilities for profitable business.

You can look forward to using your creativity and your innovative thinking and to impacting our organisation while developing your skills and future career opportunities.

You hold a PhD or MSc in Food Science or have comparable competencies that enable you to produce scientific evidence. Besides in-depth knowledge of protein chemistry, you are well-versed within spectroscopy and chemometrics. You have a keen eye for research and NPD and keep yourself updated on recent trends and literature. Using your scientific approach and background you bring whey-based ingredients forward and boost the sales of our ingredients.

You have an open mind and the skills to get your opinion and ideas across, and it comes natural to you to manoeuvre in a major project organisation where you build relations to colleagues. Finally, you are a great communicator with strong English proficiency and the ability to make your field accessible to non-specialists.
