Fleet Systems Administrator - Leeds

Are you a strong administrator with a background in logistics and a good knowledge of transport systems and fleet operations?

We are recruiting for a Fleet Systems Administrator to work in our National Fleet Team in order to support, maintain & develop the electronic and digital systems connected to our modern and advanced UK Logistics fleets. In this role you will report to the National Fleet Manager and will be based at our head office in Leeds.

Our Farmer owners and Customers know what they want and when they want it, which means we have to meet all of their service expectations on a daily basis. Much of this responsibility lies with our Inbound milk collection fleet & outbound fast moving distribution network to collect our raw milk and deliver our great products on time, in a quality & temperature controlled environment.


Some of your key responsibilities in the role will include:

  • Service & development of the Inbound milk collection fleet metering systems and driver computer, supporting the training and development of our onsite management & engineering teams covering the whole of the UK
  • Carrying out depot and supplier review meetings with structured weekly & monthly KPI’s in order to maintain high service levels
  • Supporting UK Logistics on the 2030 roadmap to deliver on our carbon reduction targets
  • Invoice management and support
  • Insurance recovery

The successful candidate will have a background in logistics and an understanding of distribution operations. You will be able to demonstrate strong project management & organisational skills and will have the ability to work cross functionally bringing people and teams together to deliver exceptional service. You will also have strong negotiation and presentation skills. With the ability to plan projects and manage any technical or operational problems that come along, you will be confident in providing recommendations and innovative ideas to improve our cost efficiency across this vital part of the supply chain. Ideally you will also have experience of working with SAP and an understanding of Isotrak or other verilocation systems.
