Finance Business Partner, Supply Chain - Bislev, Melton and Trevarrian - Aarhus

Can you create value and growth for designated Arla production sites? And can you provide the Site Directors and management teams with strategic financial advice and counselling? If so, you might be our new Finance Business Partner. This role is based in our headquarters in Viby (Aarhus) but you will support our sites in Bislev, Melton (UK) and Trevarrian (UK).

About the job

As financial sparring partner for the Site Directors in Bislev, Melton and Trevarrian, and as a member of the management teams you have first-hand information on strategic issues. You use this deep insight to analyse the business targets, revise these when necessary and follow up on the results. This provides you with a general overview and the opportunity to challenge performance and set the bar high to improve the bottom line. You will act as an advisor on financial issues for your sites, and you ensure that vital knowledge and best practices are shared with relevant stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Communicate performance throughout the organization to ensure clarity and one view on the financial performance of the site.
  • Act as advisor on financial and strategic issues accountable for providing necessary facts, financial analyses and business cases.
  • Acts as ONE ultimate owner of numbers: ensures updated forecasts, transparency and consistency in numbers to enable effective and forward-looking performance dialogue  
  • Acts as ONE point of contact between support function and business critical function and as a trusted financial advisor, providing clarity and helping set the direction.

You will enjoy close cooperation with your colleagues at the other sites, and you will be involved in projects, analyses, performance management, best practise and other relevant tasks. As you will support our sites in Melton and Trevarrian this role will require some travel activities and overnight stays. You will initially travel more, but long-term we expect approximately 30 travelling days annually.

Who are you?

To be successful in this role we believe that you have a degree in economics and previous experience as a Finance Business Partner or Controller. It is also a plus if you have experience from manufacturing or logistics finance. You are expected to work well within the Microsoft Office package and it would be an advantage if you know SAP and Business Warehouse Solutions, but it is not a requirement. Furthermore, you are fluent in Danish and English.

As this role includes travelling you must hold a valid driver’s license and have access to a car.
